The Wonder Years: Children's stories
“When you’re a little kid, you’re a little bit of everything: Artist, Scientist, Athlete, Scholar. Sometimes it seems like growing up is a process of giving those things up one at a time. One by one.” – Kevin Arnold, Narrator
Airing from 1988-1993, I think most of my friends watched this show. It was an American coming-of-age series, featuring Fred Savage, as the main character and narrator, Kevin. It told the story of an adolescent boy growing up in a suburban middle-class family taking place during the years of ’68-’73. Looking back, I can relate so much of my own childhood to the show, and hence came the name of these sessions of precious childhood memories: The Wonder Years.
