Named as one of the best school shows of all time, in my teen years, I loved watching Saved by the Bell on Saturday mornings. Primarily focused on lighthearted comedy found within the high school years, it did occasionally touch on the more serious social issues of high school, such as drug use, driving under the influence, homelessness, remarriage, women’s rights and death. The show followed a group of friends featuring Screech, Lisa, Jessie, Kelly, AC Slater and Zach, and their Principal, Mr. Belding. So many high school situations can be seen in this classic show. Congratulations to our Seniors and ode to the memories of high school!
